She lay there in my arms,
as still as a rock.
About to sail the sea,
where she could never dock.
She told me she had to leave,
She told me we had to part.
She told me it was not the end,
but was just another path.
She told me she was sick,
She told me she was done.
She told me not to stop,
and keep moving on.
With her cries still echoing,
She told me not to cry.
And with a glimpse of my tears,
She told me not to try.
She told me I should remember,
the happy days together.
The songs of our time
and our beautiful place's weather.
I did not utter a word,
I could not utter a word.
An epic on my lips,
it just could not be heard.
With eyes full of love,
She told me she is mine.
And the same watery eyes,
whispered it was time.
With a deep gasp of air,
she sunk into my arms.
The world had stopped,
grey, cold and devoid of all its charms.
She lay there in my arms,
as still as a rock.
Sailing the seas,
where she could never dock.
I know my love for her
would never stop,
For she was my own
dear-dearest laptop.

Natural Actors!!!
Reach office and calculate the time you'll have to be in it. Reach home and calculate the time you have before you get back. You know, office in reality is a theater. Pretend to work hard when manager is around. Pretend to be intelligent when supervisor is around. Pretend to be inside the monitor when someone passes by. Pretend to read when actually you are checking if it is time for lunch. Pretend to have lunch, while you check out the girl sitting on the next table. Pretend to be ignoring her, while you still gawk at her through the corner of your eyes. Pretend to be smart, when you don't really understand the topic being discussed at the table. Pretend to yawn, when you have already taken a short nap on your desk. Pretend its because of the ease of your task and not because of the heavy lunch you dumped on yourself. Pretend to be thinking deeply of a problem when you stare at others' screens, just to check if everybody else is as useless as you. Pretend to be discussing intently with a colleague, when actually you are thinking of the TT match you played last evening. Pretend to be researching a topic on the net while you have google opened that says "Where to find chopsticks in Gurgaon?" Pretend to be needing a cup of coffee, when you hope it keeps you up till you find the answer of the question you googled. Make fun of others' deeds, while you pretend not to have done any such deed yourself. Pretend to have seen all the movies by simply nodding, when you curse yourself for not watching it when friends recommended. Pretend to be arranging your desk while you are ensuring if the coast is clear for you to claim your independence. Pretend to be indifferent while leaving the office, when your mind is offering coconuts and sweets to the holy God, praying that you don't get noticed. Pretend to be composed once you are out, although it is too difficult for you to control your happiness. Pretend that you had a long hard day, when you feel a tinge of guilt in your gut. Aaaarghhh!!! What am I, an actor?
