She lay there in my arms,
as still as a rock.
About to sail the sea,
where she could never dock.
She told me she had to leave,
She told me we had to part.
She told me it was not the end,
but was just another path.
She told me she was sick,
She told me she was done.
She told me not to stop,
and keep moving on.
With her cries still echoing,
She told me not to cry.
And with a glimpse of my tears,

She told me I should remember,
the happy days together.

and our beautiful place's weather.

I could not utter a word.
An epic on my lips,
it just could not be heard.
With eyes full of love,

And the same watery eyes,
